Last week, Simon Kazwah, technical PtX project manager at GreenLab (GreenHyScale H2020 partner) attended the Maskinmestrenes Forening‘s annual business conference, #AJOUR2022, at the Odense Congress Center.
On this occasion, Simon presented the GreenHyScale H2020 project and talked about the technical opportunities and challenges of being among the first to be so far with the development and establishment of large-scale PtX projects.
PtX (or Power to X) is the process of converting Renewable Electricity into a wide variety (X) of end products. It starts with producing hydrogen through electrolysis using renewable electricity to split water (H2O) into its components hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2). These elements can then either be used directly or can be processed further in PtX Synthesis Units.
